NATIONAL CAMPING SUNDAY

APRIL 29, 2001

This year The Canadian Ecumenical Jubilee Initiative calls our attention to issues of climate change, and our care of the earth, as well as native land claims, and concerns of the people of the First Nations. This year's Camping Sunday Worship Service was designed with these themes in mind, emphasizing our inter-connectedness with God, with one another, and with all of creation.

The service was prepared by Rev. Grant Dillenbeck, a member of the ministry team at Bells Corners United Church in Ottawa, Ontario, and his wife, Ruth Richardson, a palliative care nurse educator, and Regional Director of the International Sacred Dance Guild for Eastern Canada. Grant and Ruth have a number of resources posted on their congregation's Web Site at http://www.bcuc.org.
